Pastor M. Craig Stallard and first Lady  Carol Stallard welcome you to Calvary Lighthouse.  Pastor Stallard holds a masters degree with a major in mathematics and minor in psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler . He has over 40 years experience in teaching , ranging from junior high through college level. Sis. Stallard also holds a bachelors degree in education from UT at Tyler and has over 25 years of teaching experience. Pastor and Sister Stallard are both graduates of Conquerors Bible College in Portland Oregon where they spent 3 years preparing for spending a lifetime together in the work of God. Early in their ministry they were honored to serve 4 years as assistant pastor to the late Rev. Benjamin Urshan in Albuquerque, NM and 10 years with Pastor A.D. Spears in Longview, TX . They accepted their calling to Portland, TX in 1992 and have since seen Calvary Lighthouse Church enabled to build and completely pay off a beautiful new facility.   At this time, Pastor Stallard is the longest serving pastor in Portland, TX.  To God be the Glory for the things He has done.
Pastor and Sis. Stallard have 3 wonderful daughters.  Their oldest daughter, Joanna, is a doctor of gastroenterology,  is a practicing partner with Abdominal Specialist in Corpus Christi and actively serves CLC in the Music Ministry and leadership team.  Jolene holds a bachelors degree in music from Texas A&M CC, and has taught music in public schools here in Corpus Christi and in San Antonio while serving in the music ministry here and at HOPE CENTER in San Antonio. She currently serves as music director for the South Central Texas District of the United Pentecostal Church Intl.   Janell holds a  Masters of Music Degree in music from TCU where she attended on a full Music Departmental Scholarship.   She taught music at GP ISD for 2 years and is currently Music Minister and Administrative Assistant for Life Church in Fort Worth, TX.   Each of the girls is married to a wonderful Christian man...Eric Linsteadt, Terry Wallace, and Alexander Lewis respectively. These men each serve God, Family, Church and community wholeheartedly.  The Stallards are also very proud of 4 grandsons:  Sam and Zeke Linsteadt,  Trexton and Benson Wallace  (and of course there is room for MORE!) ... Most of all, the Stallard family is honored to represent the name of Jesus Christ  in Portland, TX.
